Nasu International Country Club offers a gentlehood course with 50 years' history. It was co-designed by Asami Midorizo and Tomizawa Seizo, who had designed many famous courses in Japan. The course boasts flat fairways and gently undulating greens, which adds to the difficulty of the course. At the 10th hole, with a perfect first shot from tee ground, golfers may get the ball to the green with two shots. However, bunkers are laid out at the left and right sides of the green, therefore, to have a grasp of direction and distance control is of great importance so as to successfully get balls on the green and score high.
