The staff was very kind to us and were already waiting when we arrived. There was a bit of inexperience from the caddies, but the fairways, rough, and bunkers were in excellent condition. The course also features beautiful scenery with many pleasant views.
The only disappointing aspect was the greens — they are in horrible shape. There’s a structure with a tarp over them, possibly to protect from hail, but it affects your approach shots. Just a heads-up if you’re planning to make a reservation.
P.S. It’s a very challenging course. Most of the holes have out-of-bounds areas, so I wouldn’t recommend it for high-handicap players.

Chongqing Poly complex is located in the northern part of the city. The course was over seeded in a lot of areas for the winter. The tees needed to have the rye cut, it was quite long. There are several narrow driving holes. The caddie was very knowledgeable and engaging for a foreigner with novice Chinese skills. The greens are often highly sloped so putting speed skill is REQUIRED. Greens were stated to be 8. I didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on the restaurant. The practice facility is quite good.
