Many holes on the front nine define the existing naturally landscaped water bodies, while the back nine meanders through mature stands of trees. Both nines take advantage of large overhanging trees that influence play and frame most holes. The rough areas are a mix of wood chips and native grasses. In contrast, there are infrequent bunkers, each strategically positioned hazard to appear prominent and come into play where necessary.

The finishing two holes are the most challenging; the monster 612 yard 17th, requiring play at least twice over water; and the beautiful par-4 18th hole, where a well-struck shot gives a chance for a finishing birdie.

Extensive facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, and practice bunkers. The modest clubhouse provides a first-class restaurant with a well-stocked full bar. Non-golfers are encouraged to use the adjoining luxury spa facilities, which makes a 4-hour spa and massage treatment the perfect companion to a round of golf.

The Phuket Laguna golf course is an excellent choice for a fun day out on the links. It is also conveniently located in the Laguna area, making for easy transportation for those staying at any of its luxury Phuket resorts. An early morning round of golf will leave time for lunch and the rest of the day on the beach or exploring Phuket Island.
