Opened in 2002, Beijing CBD International Golf Club is located in the prime location of East Beijing City, between Jingtong and Jingshen Expressway and with East Fourth Ring Road to the east. It takes only 8 minutes to drive from China World Trade Center which is the core of Beijing CBD and 12 minutes from Wangfujing Street in Business Center. Covered an total area of 135 hectare, the club planned to build an 18-hole course in accordance to international tournament standard driving range and deluxe villa. According to TPC(Tournament Player Course) style, the course is designed by renowned designer-Brit Stenson who has designed more than 10 PGA course in America with rich design and construct experience. TPC course is known for extensive water area and tortuous bunkers. What makes it more distinguished is the typical design---mid-lake island of green. Every design of the course is made for professional competition and enables golfers to take different strategies based on their own level. By making full use of water which is encouraged by Beijing government, the course has not only protested natural environment but also created an water area of 200,000 square meters which enable golfer to enjoy top-level TPC course just in Beijing. Advanced Rainbird-Sprinklers System and 900 E series nozzle have been employed in the course. And it can control every single nozzle through central control system to create a best effect of sprinkling irrigation according to terrain and climate. There are 1,400 nozzles in this 18-hole course which is a rare condition in China's course and the essential condition of world top-level course. Positioning in high-end private club, the club is meant to connect to CBD and further promote prosperity of Beijing central business district. Being a world-level course in Beijing, CBD course had held VOLVO China in 2008 which is the highest level of golf competition.
