Course Introduction

This traditional links course, designed by Tony Cashmore, is a stark contrast to the stadium-style St John's course. The Henley Course meanders through river-washed wetlands and oxbow tundra and stands alongside the Wallandette State Forest. The long grass areas are as picturesque as the fairways, and the rugged terrain is more in keeping with a traditional Scottish or Irish links course. The Henley Course has the traditional ‘nine holes out and nine holes in’.

The course boasts Australia's longest par four, with lush green fairways, sculpted greens and bunkers giving way to blue river pools and wetlands, home to water lilies and birdlife. The Yarra River meanders through holes that meander on both sides of the river. The location and attention to detail make Heritage Golf & Country Club one of Australia's most stunning golf courses.
