It’s a hilly course. Only the short holes have significant uphill and downhill, while the other holes are relatively gentle.
Except for the 8th hole, the outward nine is mostly straight, and the landing area for the first shot is wide and easy to attack.
The fairways have less lateral undulation but more undulation from front to back, though it doesn’t affect play much.
Compared to the outward nine, the inward nine has more varied layouts with ponds and valleys, and keeping the fairway is a key factor in scoring.
