To date, the only PGA Tour event in Japan, the "ZOZO Championship," has been held in 2019 and 2021, with Tiger Woods (2019) and Hideki Matsuyama (2021) taking home the championship titles. Additionally, the 2019 event served as the stage for Tiger Woods to achieve his record-tying 82nd victory on the tour.
The King Course is designed for athletes, featuring a longer distance, while the Queen Course, with its flat layout, includes numerous ponds that create a beautiful landscape, making it enjoyable for players of all ages. Both courses are used for various tournaments and boast world-class course design. In the past, they have hosted many events, including the Suntory Open, the Japan Open Golf Championship, and the Japan Senior Open Golf Championship.
The nearest station, Chiba New Town Chuo Station (Hokuso Railway), is about 60 minutes from the city center, and the golf course is just a 10-minute ride by club bus from the station, providing excellent access by train.
