Shanzhiyuan Golf Club is a 36-hole hillside course surrounded by pine forests, of immense scale. The course is equipped with golf carts, and the fairways are planted with Bermuda grass, providing greenery throughout the year. The Shanzhiyuan course offers lengthy distances, with flat and wide fairways, suitable for employing a first-shot strategy to gain distance. On this course, long hitters can freely swing their clubs. The holes on the Lengli course are varied and continuous, with less undulation compared to the Shanzhiyuan course, emphasizing accuracy over distance particularly on the first shot. Tournaments such as the ABC Cup, including the Japan Professional Golfers' Championship held in Heisei 5, and the annual open tournaments starting the following year, are all held at the Shanzhiyuan course.
