The course is located at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake at an altitude of 1,400 metres, so you can enjoy playing amidst the magnificent scenery. The ball needs to fly high, and you need to pay attention to this when choosing clubs. The course is flat, but the fairways are horseback and the greens are shaved, making tee shots difficult. There are few bunkers but the grass bunkers in the shape of octopus pots are cleverly laid out and most of the greens are undulating so approach shots are key to scoring.
