Founded in 1984, Saujana Golf & Country Club (SGCC) offers two exquisite and scenic championship golf courses, namely the ‘Palm Course’ and ‘Bunga Raya Course. Designed for championship play by renowned golf course architect, Ronald Fream Design Group, based in California, USA, SGCC has constantly given the status of ‘Malaysia’s Number 1 Golf Club’ and numbered among the ‘100 Best Golf Resorts’ in the world. The Courses sprawl over 400 acres of undulating terrain of what was formerly a well-kept oil palm estate. Great care is taken to preserve the beauty of the flora and natural land features and testimony of this is the wide range of fauna that is visible to the observant golfer.
Bunga Raya Course
Named after Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus, the course has been given another nickname - The Crocodile - by none other than one of our old touring professionals, Mr Lee Westwood. The beautiful and rolling landscape together with several water catchment ponds bring a different challenge to the golfer. Playing 7,034 yards from the back tees, after a recent course renovation done by E&G Parslow, the Course has open Bermuda fairways and Miniverde Greens. The Par-3 17-hole, which plays over an expanse of water, is the signature hole. A good score there and another on the finishing 18th will certainly make for a great round of golf. "
