Located at the north side of the Shanghai Pudong Airport, Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club includes Dongzhuang Clubhouse, Parkland Course and Linksland Course.
Dongzhuang Beach clubhouse is designed by the internationally renowned Thailand KTGY architectural design team, and the chief designer of the team, Sunantapat Pat Chalermpanth, is responsible for the overall construction design of the clubhouse. The total area of the clubhouse is more than 16,000 square meters, covering three interconnected clubhouses. The main clubhouse is planned, designed and built combine with traditional Chinese and Western architecture style as a fluttered phoenix which symbolizes good luck.
The Parkland Course and Linksland Course are 18-hole championship golf courses designed and built by the American well-know design company JMP, and famous designer Mark Hollinger does the actual designing in person. The total area of the course is more than 2,700 mu. The Parkland Course is designed by Tim Dun, and the course is known for its challenging and interesting features. It skillfully combines natural landscape into each tee ground and green by the collocation of a variety of ornamental plants, forming a three-dimensional obstacle far larger than bunker, which increases the difficulty of stroking as well as the challenges and enjoyment. Designed by Kelly’Lysak, the Linksland Course is an unwonted links styled course in Shanghai facing the sea. Traditional-Style bunkers situated in the course, and the knee-length grass and flowers along both sides of the fairway to express the wildness of the course, just like wandering in the ancient links atmosphere in Scotland. Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club has its unique geographical advantage, excellent golf course design and maintenance. Since the newly opening, it already attracted many golfers and also became another Shanghai and Asia Rookie.
