Gotemba Tomei Golf Club is a golf course owned by PGM.
This course is located in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture and opened in September 1978, designed by Seizo Tomizawa.
It is a relatively flat course with just the right amount of undulation, and is divided into an out course rich in strategy and an in course where accuracy is tested.
It is a great attraction that you can enjoy the rich forest and the chirping of wild birds while looking up at the majestic figure of Mt. Fuji on 16 of the 18 holes.
The famous hole is No. 12, which is a downhill middle hole. The key to scoring is to aggressively attack up to the tree in the middle of the 240-yard hole and aim for the large A green. In addition, the 15th short hole, where accurate reading of wind and distance is crucial, has a tricky structure with a pond around the front of the green, so club selection is also important. This is a difficult hole with the risk of a 3-putt as the green gets faster from the back.
