The 18 holes golf course was located in mountain, golfers can take a good view of Sakurajima, Kimonwa the symbol of Kagoshima. The course combined traditions and histories was designed by Kumeta, and opened in 1959. Front nine was modified and improved by widen fairways, however the difficulty had been lower due to the modification. No.16 par 3 hole was famous because golfers will tee while stand 250 meter above ground and enjoy the ball on down-slope opening.
